QUALITY MANUAL

I. General

Quality construction is the quint essence of KSPHC contracts. All materials entering works shall undergo quality tests prescribed as per relevant BIS. Materials not confirming to standards stands summarily rejected.

Testing of building materials and ensuring satisfactory quality in works is the prime responsibility of Contractor. For all major housing projects it is mandatory that the contractor has to establish a quality control laboratory to test on Day-to-Day and Batch-to-Batch basis.

Contracts stipulate that sub standard quality materials and works are not only dismantled and removed but also liable for a penalty of Rs. 1.00 Lakh each for each and every case of default.

Periodical test report of all materials of all projects is envisaged to be published in web site.

Web Based Project Monitoring provides opportunity to General Public to bring to the notice of top management all cases of unsatisfactory works.

Stipulation of longer duration of maintenance periods and refund of security deposit only after satisfactory completion of maintenance period discourages use of poor quality materials in works.

Corporation also envisages conducting additional tests both destructive and non destructive through independent third party competent testing agencies in case of complaints about quality of works
