Government has taken many measures to implement e-Governance in the State government / undertakings
to impart (a) Good Governance, (b) Transparency, (c)Right to information to ensure the Cost and Time over run in
control ,to ensure Quality in construction and enhance productivity.
KSPHC has taken some steps to introduce the same in all it's activities:
- Computerisaton of the whole working system of KSPHC - 89 + PC's are provided up to Sub Division levels.
- Biometric attendance system -
- uses finger prints,
- intranet Based.
- Web enabelled(Under Process)
The System is used to improve punctuality of Staff, easy maintenance / retrieval of Leave and Service records.
- KSPHC has introduced LAN at KSPHC Head Quarters, which enhances the speed of communication and decision making.
- KSPHC has co-located it's Servers at BSNL to host the web site and to provide E-mail facility to it's Staff and
Tender details etc., to the Contractors.
All Divisions & Sub divisions are connected with Dial up / ISDN net work.Other ways of connectivity
are being explored for speedy and better communication.Web site is also useful in providing information to
Corporation, Police Department, Stake holders, Public, Vendors & Contactors.
- Web based project management system using MS project 2002 -
- For monitoring of the construction Projects in the remote sites on regular basis.
- At any given point of time the Status of the project can be known precisely.
- To monitor Mile stone, Progress with respect to the Programme of work and slippages etc.,
- Assessment of physical progress by Photos / Videos up loaded often during the process of construction.
- Can be used to monitor other Projects also other than construction projects.
- Effective Project management over coming Time & Distance constraints.
In future, it is planned to have Video conferencing system between Offices to further
enhance better communication and decision making in the direction of achieving our GOAL.
- Preparation of ESTIMATES, DRAWINGS and Walk through using Camp-ex and Archicad respectively, which ensures
accuracy and saving in Time.
- Structural Design using STADD 21.1w / NISA (CIVIL) software.
- Tally is being used for accounting through out the Corporation -
- It helps in day to day tracking of accounts
- Break up of expenditure at various levels can be had at any point of time
- Details of bank transactions at all levels can be tracked
- e-Tendering process is being conducted,
which enhances Transparency, speeds up tendering process,
finalization of contract and saving of project
duration.
The e-tendering is being conducted in association with 01 markets a Wipro sister concern.
By implementation of REVERSE AUCTION, there is instant
saving in project cost also, which is available immediately.
