It is disheartening to note the speed of the construction, especially when the residents have vehemently opposed it. Once this is completed, it will be impossible to close it, and I request the concerned authorities to take needful action now.
We, the residents of HIG sector, oppose this illegal construction, and we need BBMP to stop it immediately.

There is a large empty expanse of land right behind the mantri classic apartment complex. This is usually very green as grass and vegetation grows.
There used to be a small pond here too.
There is illegal dumping of construction waste being done in the middle of the night at 2 AM etc - lot of trucks come and dump rubbish in the area.
Now there have been 2-3 fires that have been set in the wild vegetation. This causes a lot of black smoke and pollution.
Can anything be done to stop 1. Illegal dumping 2. The setting of these fires that destroy the whole environment ? |

We NRI have bought around 110 plots in Nobel Nagar-Bannergatta, Kottigare village. A brick factory guy has set up a brick factory on our land. At present he is taking soil from our land. He does not allow any of us to approach our site. We want him to stop extracting soil from our land and remove his brick factory. I had lodged complaint in year 2000 with Bannergatta police station. But the brick factory guy is not bothered about the complaint. We NRI can not visit India very often neither can opt for a reprehensible act. TAR raod was supposed to be laid here..but the authorities have failed to complete their work.
Its been more than fifteen year now and they have not turned up to lay the TAR. Right now its just a mud raod with stones,pathholes,etc.. |
